Islamic militia seizes Somalia's capital
"MOGADISHU, Somalia - An Islamic militia with alleged links to al-Qaida seized Somalia's capital Monday after weeks of fighting with U.S.-backed secular warlords, raising fears that the nation could fall under the sway Osama Bin Laden's terrorist organization."

the problem is that Somalia is a major wasteland. They haven't had an organized government since 1991 I believe. Literally,the country is ruled(or was ruled) like a feudal nation: a bunch of warlords control specific areas and have people who fight for them to get more land or food.
In a way, I saw this one coming really..funny thing is,probably one of the safest and healthiest times to live in Somalia was during the time of Italian occupation..
