Iran's conservative president has said that Israel should be moved to Europe.

Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said that if Germany and Austria felt responsible for the Jewish Holocaust, they should give up land to make room for Israel.
"You oppressed them, so give a part of Europe to the Zionist regime so they can establish any government they want," he said on a visit to Mecca.

Well, the idea is half-right but the geography is all wrong. This time the Jews need to properly buy the land they are going to occupy. And for a country dependent on the welfare of the USA, Austria and Germany are too expensive. I suggest they purchase a portion of the polar region and then try to convience the rest of the world to honor the Kyoto Accords.

Ahmadinejad was quoted by Iran's official IRNA news agency as saying in a news conference in the Saudi Arabian city of Mecca: "Some European countries insist on saying that Hitler killed millions of innocent Jews in furnaces, and they insist on it to the extent that if anyone proves something contrary to that, they condemn that person and throw them in jail.

"Although we don't accept this claim, if we suppose it is true, our question for the Europeans is: Is the killing of innocent Jewish people by Hitler the reason for their support to the occupiers of Jerusalem?

"If the Europeans are honest they should give some of their provinces in Europe -- like in Germany, Austria or other countries -- to the Zionists, and the Zionists can establish their state in Europe," he said. "You offer part of Europe, and we will support it."

Raanan Gissin, a spokesman for Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon, said in Tel Aviv: "Just to remind Mr. Ahmadinejad, we've been here long before his ancestors were here. Therefore, we have a birthright to be here in the land of our forefathers and to live here. Thank God we have the capability to deter and to prevent such a statement from becoming a reality."

German Chancellor Angela Merkel called Ahmadinejad's words "totally unacceptable," and British Foreign Secretary Jack Straw said: "I condemn them unreservedly. They have no place in civilized political debate."

Iran's Holocaust remarks hurt nuclear talks - Germany

BERLIN (Reuters) - Remarks by Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad that the Holocaust was a myth may weigh on efforts by the EU to resolve a dispute over Tehran's nuclear ambitions, Germany's foreign minister said on Wednesday.

"The recent remarks by the Iranian president ... are certainly shocking and unacceptable," Foreign Minister Frank-Walter Steinmeier told reporters before a meeting of the parliamentary foreign affairs committee.

"I cannot deny that they may weigh on our bilateral relations and naturally also on the chances for the negotiations on (Iran's) so-called nuclear dossier," he said.

He said the cabinet, which meets on Wednesday, would discuss Ahmadinejad's remarks. Holocaust denial is a crime in Germany.

The Iranian president told a crowd in the southeastern city of Zahedan on Wednesday that the killing of six million Jews by the Nazis was a legend, reiterating comments which drew international condemnation last week.

European diplomats say Ahmadinejad's Holocaust comments make it harder for them to negotiate directly with Iran over the country's nuclear programme. They also say it undermines Iran's claims that its atomic ambitions are entirely peaceful.

Look, let's call a spade a spade here. The Iranian President is saying to the Europeans who are in discussion with him about nuclear enrichment, if you harmed Jews then you make a place for them. Do not send them to our Muslim lands. The reason he is doing this is to back up the Europeans as one boxer backs up another with a series of punches. They, the Europeans, are in a weaker position or so the President of Iran thinks. He knows the Europeans really have no heart in these talks. Europe is not threatned by Iran. In fact, the Russians who share a border with Iran are selling them advanced arms. The President of Iran knows the Europeans talking to him are doing so on the request of the United States. The implied threat which motivates the Europeans is that if they fail, George W. Bush will take action and nobody wants more Bush wrong decisions. So, the Europeans are trying to baby-sit George W. and so get some sort of agreement, even temporary agreement, from Iran. The Europeans know who is behind the US push to disarm Iran and they are hoping, as we all are, that after Congressional elections next year, Bush will be weakened and by 2008, Bush will be gone one way or another. The Europeans know as the President of Iran knows that all both have to do is buy time.

IRAN: HOLOCAUST CONFERENCE SOON IN TEHRAN

Tehran, 5 Jan. (AKI) - Iran has decided to rewrite and revise the history of the Holocaust. Following the repeated declarations by the Iranian president, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, and other senior government officials on the need to re-examine the history of the genocide of the Jews during the Second World War, the association of Islamic Journalists of Iran has been tasked with quickly putting together an international conference on the Holocaust.

The former social scientist, Serge Thion kicked out of his job for revisionism, declared his own and his colleagues approval of Ahmadinejad's outlook and referred to his comments as logical, fair and courageous. "I wish to assure you that French and international revisionist scholars will support entirely the Iranian President Ahmadinejad.

Another German holocaust denier, a former Reuters reporter and author of several books on holocaust, Michael Hofmann, considering himself as a historian and researcher of fundamental historical facts, expressed his support for Ahmadinejad's outlook in an analysis appearing at his personal website.

The French researcher and holocaust critic, Henry Rock, declared his full support for the scientific remarks of President Ahmadinejad and called for further assessment of Holocaust and research on it.
