Another Tsunami in the same spot with a same type of underwater landslide off Sumatra coast? Evidence of much larger damages in tectonic plates
There are early indications of some major underwater disturbances in the same spot off Sumatra coast that caused the catastrophic Tsunami. The landslide that caused the Tsunami has weakened the earth’s crust in that region. It is “hot spot” and is seismically one of the most active areas in the world.
The glimpse of the epicenter of the earthquake and the resulting violent shaking of 24 miles the ground at the boundary of the Burma and Indian plates that cause the mega Tsunami in December shows further dangerous development.
Recently, the British Royal Navy published some pictures of the landslide that caused the South Asian Tsunami in late December. These pictures confirms what scientists were worried about.
The Burma plate and the Indian plate are moving against each other. The Indian plate is pushing under the Burma plate. Recent Geological observations in January showed Indian Geologists that the tectonic plate disturbance for some reason is actually increasing around the same exact epicenter and may be setting up even a larger earthquake and Tsunami. It is evident that same type under water tectonic plate level disturbances persists 20 to 30 miles below the ground. The problem lies with the damage that was made in December 2004. It seems that damage was made with a “very large” force in a very specific zone on the earth’s crust. The damage is so severe that it is possible that further quick bursts of severe non-harmonic tremor and accompanying landslide as well as Tsunami can happen any time.
