This is not true,
![]() -------------------------------------------------- Bush denies his watch was stolen WASHINGTON (AP) - President Bush wants the story of his vanishing watch to disappear. Video coverage of the U.S. president's wild stop in Albania over the weekend showed that Bush's watch seemed to disappear from his wrist as he greeted the locals. That led Albanian and U.S. media - and buzzing websites - to raise questions about whether the watch had been swiped. The White House says the watch was not stolen, and that Bush instead had put it in his pocket. The mystery of the missing timepiece happened near the end of Bush's eight-day trip to Europe. In Albania, he was met by a rapturous crowd of people who grabbed him by the arms and wrists and even ruffled his hair. Bush was clearly delighted by the attention. But he was rather ticked by the subsequent reports. "I have never seen such a ludicrous story," Bush said Wednesday of the media's coverage. "Unbelievable." Just to prove the point, Bush rolled up his sleeve to show photographers in the Oval Office that he was wearing the watch. Later, spokesman Tony Snow confirmed, "That is, in fact, the watch he was wearing in Albania." ![]() President Bush shows off his watch in the Oval Office of the White House in Washington, Wednesday, June 13, 2007, where he announced that Ed Gillespie will be the new counselor to the president. The video is there and tells a story. An image is worth 1,000 words.

![]() Plus. There are plenty of other reasons not to trust bush. He is a televangelist, sepcifically a Christian Zionist. He can't pronounce nuclear popular. He mistook the definitions of import and export. He mistook feces and fetus. He said he is the "decider". He claims god told him to invade Iraq and kill (according to some estimates) up to 2 million people. Furthermore considering he seems to have some inferiority complex regarding his father, the fact that it is alledged that he snorted crack and that he was and still is a drunk, I wouldn't trust him or any of the maniacs around him. Bush is one of the few people who deserve to be hanged. But given the maniacs around him his death while in office would be worse for the world.

How can we be sure it's his watch. It looks different from the one he had in Albania. Plus, as a U.S. president shouldn't he be wearing a watch of high quality, not the ugly s**t he is wearing?

It does not matter. I believe he is wearing this kind of watches. But he probably has dozens of them. Posting this kind of picture and saying it was not stolen, is like posting an image of a regular rock with the statement: "First human on Mars. As proof, they brought this rock from there"

I think I am too soft hearted. Part of me hoped they didn't steal his watch because it would ruin this magic moment he just had with the few people on earth who like and respect him. I catch myself feeling sorry for Bush like he is a retarded child who lost his favourite toy on a school outing. Maybe the people who work for him gave him some ice-cream and rushed out to buy another watch so he wouldn't know the Albanians stole his. They didn't want to ruin his perfect day.
