As for wikipedia I found nothing about Sorbs being predominantly Protestant...only about Protestant Sorbs immigrating to USA.....similar what happened with Czech Protestants. One should also know that Reformation was quite successful among certain slavic nations....especially Czechs, Slovaks, Slovenes and Croats. But not long after that there was Counter-Reforomation so they were brought back to Catholicism. |

I can talk about Croatian reformators for others I don't know much. Among first and known reformators were Lutherans Grgur Vlahovic and Matija Vlačić Ilirik and also Calvinist Mihael Bučić. What is interesting that the Zrinski family was the most zealous in supproting reformation in Croatian lands and often protected prostestants and some of the Zrinski's even openly declared as Protestants. |

Poland has been the gateway between West and East throughout its history it has never fully belonged to one or the other, there is just simply some people who consider themselves west and some to east it all depends on your state of mind.

We have Primo Trubar who wrote first Slovenian book and is now depicted on 1 coin. There are other famous Slovenian reformers like Jurij Dalmatin who translated Bible into Slovenian.
http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedi...3px-Si1eur.jpg I'm 1/4 Protestant. ![]() About 1% of Slovenians are Protestant, mostly in north-eastern Slovenia, there is a Protestant church also in Ljubljana, Slovenian capital.
