Skórka is the name of two villages in Poland: 1, 2. This article mentions a Rabbi by the name of Skorka. Israeli settler by the name here. Board Member of the Sandler Center for Jewish Life Enhancement by the name mentioned here. Škorka, seemingly a Czech name. Couldn't it be the case that some Jews took the name of Skórka from the village?
