Here are two of the few noteworthy statues in Denmark:
King Christian the 4th, one of the few great kings in the history of Denmark. If you ever come to Copenhagen and see a beautiful building, it was probably built during Christian the 4th. Holger Danske/Ogier the Dane, an allegedly Danish soldier from Charlemagne's army. The symbol of Danish nationalists (unfortunately being exploited by neo-nazis). My great-grandfather worked as the soldier who protected this statue - highly symbolic... According to the legend, Holger wakes up if Denmark is in danger. History, unfortunately, showed that he didn't. ![]() Oh yeah, I like this one as well. "Troll That Smells Christian Blood" outside of Jesuskirken in Valby. ![]()

I have no wish for a pretentious domain. I prefer to select a convenient site and then build after my own fashion, with the view of locating myself for a time, or perhaps for always. An obscure valley would be for me the sole habitable earth." |

Yes, I also thought that it probably refers to radiation. But also perhaps medical experiments on children. ![]()
