Default Realistic Art - Howard David Johnstone

I've already seen some avatars using his artwork here, so I expect many people are already familiar with his work. All the same, few modern artists impress me, but this guy is one of them

Of course, the best are here - http://www.howarddavidjohnson.com/celticmythology.htm

PS: His artwork is great, his politics/theology stink

Thumbs up Re: Realistic Art - Howard David Johnstone

I like it though some others find it kitschy. He did a good research and has a nice style, he even made the Greek way of Phalanx fight mostly correct (though Romans might have looked different for that time in question) and has a nice sense for aesthetic and the models he chose. So thumps up!
