Should foreign students carry the Greek flag?
"In Greece, every year on 28th of October and 25th of March, the most brilliant student carries the Greek flag at the annual parade. However, what if the best student is a foreigner? Some Greeks oppose the idea of a foreigner carrying the Greek flag. They say that the flag has a special meaning for the national identity and that only Greeks can carry the flag. How should the organizers of the celebration act?"
Is there any national celebration/parade at your country? What is the status there?

The whole case is about three years old, if I am not mistaken. I had read about that in the Greek newspapers.
