Average faces of Udmurts

 : I have to admit, though, that my eyes are peculiar. In my brother and sisters the "slant" is not so pronounced. And I have a skew nose. :-) Bodily hair is light brown to reddish brown, and sometimes blondish. I had golden blond hair as a young boy.

Udmurts look more baltid than uralid. Real uralids are mansi showen in these pictures:
  Actually it is quite striking that udmurts differ so noticeable from mansi, though they are neighbouring nations and both speak finno-ugrian languages.

Udmurts and Mansi are divided by the Urals and hundreds of kilometers...

Well you are right. Udmurts really aren't mansi neighbours. Between them live komi - another finnic speaking nation. I am sorry about my mistake.
But still it is quite interesting that udmurts in those pictures have very little uralic amount. Isn't in anthropological literature written that udmurts belong to suburalic race which is close to uralic?

Actually I am not sure if these faces present real average udmurt appearance. Because I saw a group of udmurts this summer with my own eyes and they looked more uralic.
