AN asylum seeker had sex with a ewe as its “male partner” looked on, a court heard. Factory worker Hidyat Amin — who came to Britain from Iraq — romped with the sheep in a farm shed.
The 30-year-old Kurd was trapped by DNA evidence after his underpants and socks were found at the scene.
Shocked farmer Frank Davidson said: “The ewe was not very well and not very happy.” He told cops he feared “something funny” was going on involving his sheep and Shetland ponies.
A man had been seen acting suspiciously under a full moon and was spotted several times previously lurking in the farmyard.
On one occasion he casually smoked a cigarette before driving off, Hull Crown Court heard.
The sheep and a ram had been isolated as part of treatment for foot rot, at Mr Davidson’s farm in Preston, East Yorks.
He said he had found pants and socks nearby on THREE occasions as well as bread crumbs — apparently used to entice the animals.
Amin was found guilty by a jury of having sex with an animal. Prosecutor Caroline Wigin said DNA swabs suggested a billion to one chance it was not him.

Amin, who fears deportation after three years in the UK, was sentenced to six months’ jail. But he could be out next week because of time already spent behind bars.
Judge Michael Mettyear told him: “The suspicion is that your offending was not limited to this one offence.”

Just to set a counterpoint:
The only harm I can see is that the sheep was, as it seems, of foreign property. But as otehrwise no harm was done... meh, I couldnt care less where people stick their pee-wee. I really do not know why people make such a fuss over the question into which location one's genitalia are put.

Other than the fact that SHEEP HAVE FEELINGS TOO!

I think I would like to make a fuss, first and formost, because I don't really want anyone's genitalia put anywhere near or in me, thank you very much... there's a magic concept, you see...

It's called consent

And according to the law, a 5 year old child is incapable of giving this.

So yes, it is important to make a deal about it.

Susano- A sheep cannot give consent and therefore having sex with it is RAPE. Rape is sex without consent. It doesn't matter what species, it's still rape. Also, clarify yourself.

So yeah, saying "You can stick your dick in anything" really means "Anything but children"... do you honestly think people are logical enough to understand it without having it set into stone, into the language of the law?

Eh, but a sheep, as an animal, does not enjoy human rights. Apart from that, I agree wth you - but honestly, I think we both realsie that is not the mainr eason of objection here.

I think there's an underlying moral current in most societies that says "One should not have sex with animals"... maybe the whole different species thing hasn't permeated through some cultures yet.

Yeah seriously...even if an animal dosnt have human rights, it's just not right to have sex with animals. Society sets the standards, it dosnt have to be a law in order for it to be innapropiate. You might be okay with foreigners come to your country and bringing their norms of what is appropiate, but apparently, most of the people around here arent..and in general, I think most people dont want people they share their living space with screwing animals.

Oh, its not about own versus foreign norms. Well, at least not for me, anyways. It is just me advocating a moral system based on logic instead of dogmata. It is dogmatical to just say "Sex with animals is bad". Well, why? If you cannot explain why, then it is a stupid rule - just a dogma. And dogmata are, IMO, worthless.

If you can explain why, though - like saying "It is abuse of the animal" - then, well, one can discuss the reasonings. But at least it are logical reasonings.

Well Mr. Susano, my father and I work in the medical field and besides the fact that you can contract many diseases from animals which tend to be called "zoonoses" many individuals have died from sex with animals. thats just fort he human side though. There is also allergic reactions to the body fluids of animals. It should be to no surprise why pornography with animals is pretty much illegal in most parts of the world.
