Big grin Turkey in crisis talks to salvage European dream

Interesting.........personally,I agree with Austria's position !

quote from Independent:
" ..Meanwhile Recep Tayyip Erdogan, the Turkish Prime Minister, said that "if the EU is not a Christian club, this has to be proven". He said: "What do you gain by adding 99 per cent Muslim Turkey to the EU? You gain a bridge between the EU and the 1.5 billion-strong Islamic world. An alliance of civilisations will start."

Well, this are political tactics of the ÖVP and BZÖ in my opinion, they are not even honest but still their actions are better those of the other governments.

If you think about how "free" and "democratic" this "European" Union is, you can just puke! The free speech is in many countries, especially German and Austria, not existent, free political will neither, free opinion neither, but at the same time the vote of the majority of people has no value. The French decided, the EU waited, now they do what they want and let Turkey in the "European" Union, so that there is another minion of the USA in the neoliberal Union and Europeans can pay for Turkey because the USA dont want to pay for their and Israels ally any longer with massive credits most other countries would have never get, especially not without strict conditions - just compare Southern American countries. Its a all bad and tasteless joke, awful.

EYTYXEITE!
It is wide known that European "dream" is nothing more than finance.
From this point of view the question "Turkey in EU, or not?" has no value for conscious Europeans!
Sorry, our era is far away from esential questions...
Kindest regards!
