Nothing so particularly amazing about that. Many people were in the past declared men of the year by the magazine Time, some of them you would never expect them to be put into that category. I am not surprised at all.

He doesn't deserve being the man of the year..frankly speaking,I'm filling up with anger each time I see him of hear of him..how can a man like him run a government? I believe that the reason of his popularity is an active propaganda in the mass media,he actually did nothing to be popular but he does everything to return that Iron Wall

You see,I happened to live here,in Russia,and I'm able to see what's going on like an eye-witness..I don't think it's right to judge somebody's policy from a distance,from abroad.

I get TIME (i just love all caps) delivered to my apartment for free, apparently a guy named Edward Holl Jr. who moved out of my apartment years ago pays for the subscription, which is the only reason that I read it (and because I love propaganda). I wonder if he knows? Anyway, I read this article this morning while I was pinching a loaf on the toilet.

Why does anybody on this forum, of ALL forums, care what Time has to say about ANYTHING. We all know who controls Time Warner... You would have to use cheesecloth and a fine-toothed comb to filter out anything that might be of any substance and truth in that sad publication.

People take time seriously because of how it is marketed. It is visually bold, like most propaganda. It has little to say, and one can learn more about the world from reading The Onion.
