Berlusconi Wants Big Brother
business.hr A consortium involving former Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi bid to buy Dutch company Endemol, owner of the licence to the reality show Big Brother. Yhe consortium is offering GBŁ2.3bn for a clean takeover. The Consortium comprises Berslusconi’s company Mediaset and Endemol founders John de Mol and Goldman Sachs. Aside from the licence to Big Brother, Endemol own several other attractivem TV shows marketed Europe-wide, making it one of the top producers of TV content in Europe.
