Sudan man forced to 'marry' goat

A Sudanese man has been forced to take a goat as his "wife", after he was caught having sex with the animal.

The goat's owner, Mr Alifi, said he surprised the man with his goat and took him to a council of elders.

They ordered the man, Mr Tombe, to pay a dowry of 15,000 Sudanese dinars ($50) to Mr Alifi.

"We have given him the goat, and as far as we know they are still together," Mr Alifi said.

Mr Alifi, of Hai Malakal in Upper Nile State, told the Juba Post newspaper that he heard a loud noise around midnight on 13 February and immediately rushed outside to find Mr Tombe with his goat.

"When I asked him: 'What are you doing there?', he fell off the back of the goat, so I captured and tied him up."

Mr Alifi then called elders to decide how to deal with the case.
"They said I should not take him to the police, but rather let him pay a dowry for my goat because he used it as his wife," Mr Alifi told the newspaper.

Forget for a moment the excrable act of screwing a goat and think of what this tells you about their concern for women:

Good story proving that in the end the justice takes over. The sudanese goat-father (Mr Alisi) deserves much respect for his hardness.

Interestingly enough there were no witnesses and the word of the goat owner was taken for truth, as long as the animal lover didn \\\'t confess out of guilt. Curiously this people should be given voting right when coming to Europe. Then they say that we are racist because we strangely or meanly don\'t want them here. Well, they are the facts who make us prevented towards africans. Even in the most disastered european areas such kind of perverts are treated for what they are, sick individuals. They have treated such an affair as a normal intercourse between a man and a woman: as if instead of teh goat the culprit had made sex to the daughter of the goat owner.

Of course it goes to tell you the value that they give to their own daughters, wives and mothers, and ultimately to women in general.

Maybe if he had raped a daughter of that man, the issue would have been resolved by repudiating the daughter, but not forcing him to marry her.

A good question. Perhaps after a certain length of time the elders will allow him to simply tell the goat 'I divorce you' three times and it will be all over.
