It was snowing everywhere today except my region.
Erlinger's axe will have to wreak it's vengence upon me some another day.

Ireland can indeed lay claim to a great past; she can not only boast of having been the birthplace and abode of high culture in the fifth and sixth centuries . . . but also of having made strenous efforts in the seventh and up to the tenth century to spread her learning among the German and Romance peoples, thus forming the actual fountain of our present continental civilisation.

Actually, that's a depiction of the areas where snow falls on average
in the last few centuries. Western Europe is protected by the warm winds from the southern Atlantic.

Makes me laugh when I remember all those American "Nordics" who just love snow,
even though none of their ancestors actually saw it in Europe

But was it warm for that in Western Europe? Should be cold a bit there for all that.

It also means lots of Europeans are actually Frogish.

If you were a 12th generation Ubergoobernord American Viking living in Florida I'm sure you would long for the cold snowy nights of Denmark or England.

It's quite normal for you Mongolids. Actually you lived in even colder places than us Europids. j/k

I think that's right. I think Ross once said that Western Europe is populated with Mongoloids while Russia remains an oasis of pure Aryan folk

I think most Western europeans have seen snow.
I'm sure Eastern Europe sees far more of it due to it's continental climate.
As you say Western Europe is warmed, largely by the Gulf Stream. But it would be unusual still not to see snow in a year.

As for American "Nordics", sometimes I wonder if their ancestors saw Europe at all
