Does anyone play this? I played it for 3 months or so earlier this year, then stopped... now I'm back on.
I have various characters on various realms - tell us which you're on! |

I use to play the Warcraft III game a lot. This type of games aren't really my thing but I am really amused by the large amount of people who play world of warcraft. I know so many individuals who play WOW and aren't really typical gamers. Amusing I think

Never, foul fiend! *runs away and plays Warhammer instead* (since WoW was originally a GW thing anyways, as I recall...)

What is GW?
I played WoW briefly, and I don't think the critique of it is nearly as extensive as it could be. Not only PvP, but also PvE lacks content, variation and point. The only character quality being valued and rewarded is pig-headed sitting through instances and battlegrounds, doing the same things over and over again. Terrible game, if you ask me.

I presume they mean Guild Wars. I was attracted by the notion that it doesn't charge monthly fees like most other MMORPGs (*cough* WoW *cough*). It was a fun game to play, but I lost interest in it once I finished the campaign. There really isn't that much else to do, besides the massively unbalanced PvP matches and retarded trading system. I cracked up once when some guy started shouting "WTB 10 NEGRO SLAVES"...

I DON'T MEAN GUILDWARS! GAHH!
GW= Games Workshop. The people who made Warhammer. Not Guild Wars.

the problem with games like warhammer is that it's more costly than a video game and you need friends who like it, which seems to be hard to find.

My boyfriend got me into it. 200$ later and I have a batallion of unpainted wood elves, due to my obsessive compulsive nature.
I have painted two models in 6 months. A nightgoblin for a painting contest and a wardancer lord. The rest are in various states of unfinishedness... *cry*

The traditions of the Irish people are the oldest of any race in Europe north and west of the Alps, and they themselves are the longest settled on their own soil - Edmund Curtis (A History of Ireland: From Earliest Times to 1922) The Irish are one of the most ancient nations that I know of at this end of the world, and are from as mighty a race as the world ever brought forth. For it is certain that Ireland hath had the use of letters very anciently and long before England; that they had letters anciently is nothing doubtful, for the Saxons of England are said to have their letters and learning, and learned men, from the Irish. - Edmund Spenser (writer, and British Government Official in Ireland, AD 1596). The renaissance began in Ireland seven hundred years before it was known in Italy. And Armagh, the ecclesiastical capital of Ireland, was at one time the metropolis of civilisation. - Arsene Darmesteter, Professor of Old French and Literature Ireland can indeed lay claim to a great past; she can not only boast of having been the birthplace and abode of high culture in the fifth and sixth centuries . . . but also of having made strenous efforts in the seventh and up to the tenth century to spread her learning among the German and Romance peoples, thus forming the actual fountain of our present continental civilisation. - Heinrich Zimmer, Professor of Celtic and Sanskrit, Member of the Prussian Academy of Sciences |

Isn't lineage II the game where people started making money in the game and selling it in real life and people started using bots to generate income in the game and sell it online?
