OT: Elfsborg did a very bad game and 3-0 in Valencia's favour was the outcome. Elfsborg normally plays happy football but the coach this time thought that all defense would be better. Cowardly and also proved wrong. Valencia is better than Elfsborg of course and would have won the game anyway, but 3-0 is a real downer, especially since Elfsborg only had one shot that required the attention of the Valencia goalie. But Elfsborg is in the lead in the national league again anyway, on the bright side.

That's bad news. I am more of a Ice-hockey bloke than Football, but don't mind a good game in that sport either. BTW do you think Football is getting more popular on the expense of hockey in Sweden?

Ice-hockey makes for very good entertainment on TV as well, while I tend to think that football on TV is not even half the fun. I don't think that ice-hockey is going down in Sweden, we recently won the world cup and the olympics the same year. But there are some things going on in football in Sweden. They are making the national league bigger in terms of more teams and so on. How the popular standing is on football in general in Sweden is hard for me to tell, because when Elfsborg won the league last year it was many many years ago last, so around here football definitely is more popular. That actually started earlier than that too, since Borås built a new arena, classic football style where you stand (or sit) very close to the field.
