Sriously, I have no idea how many Slovenes go shopping to Croatia. People will flock to where stuff is cheaper. Ever hear of the Wall-Mart phenomenon? I know some of my acquaintances were buying computer components in Croatia in order to smuggle them into Slovenia and pay no taxes. In the end, boli me kurac...

I'm not sure either. I watched once on TV report that Slovenes started shopping in Croatia since prices in Slovenia went up when Slovenia entered European Union.
Maybe it's not that big...

I personally don't know anyone who shops in Croatia. The prices haven't gone up drastically since we entered the EU.

Croatia at this point has the lower prices than countries that were taken into EU. So many Hungarians and Slovenians come to shop into Croatia. I even heard of Austrians coming into Croatia.

The reason is that the quality of products is the same as in EU, but the prices are lower.
