Default Hypothetical Flags for Balkan Nations

I came up with this idea. If your country had to replace it's flag for whatever reason, which flag would you like to see (Make one up, Post an existing one). No Extremist flags.

Please state why you chose this flag, whether it is for a Monarchy/Communist State/Democracy/Dictatorship, whatever, please explain why you chose the flag that you did.

On a final note, guidelines:
1. No Bashing of others Ideas
2. No Extremism
3. No Insults
4. Anyone can Post
5. Instigatory Flags/Posts will be edited not deleted

Default Re: Hypothetical Flags for Balkan Nations

I think that Balkan nations don't need even hypothetical common flag.

I don't see anyone posting proposals for the common hypothetical flag of middle Europe or western Europe, or anything else related.

Even in hypothetical case, for whatever is the reason to swap national flag for a common flag of all Balkan nations, I would still support national flag.

I am sure sometime in the future (if it has not been done already) the leftists, which have alot of influnce here in Greece, will propose - demand -to take out from our flag the cross. Because we have to be a multinational state that respects all citizens religion and so on.........

That would truly be a sad day for your nation. I thought Greeks were too proud people to allow that?

Well they are, and i dont think it will happen, but i will not be suprised if the leftists try to do such a thing.

A few years ago if i remeber well they wanted to change our national anthem cause it is "brutal" and speaks against the turks, and so it must change cause we must have peace with them and so on........

Im not Balkan but I think if you want one you should add thre basic flag-colours of slavonic nations: blue, white & red. Some variation etc.

Are there some special meanings of these three Slavonic colors, or their meanings vary, depending on the nation that use them?

I like this one, but only as a symbol of Croatian people worldwide:

I believe there's no need to change our current flag.
