Default To all Croats on Stirpes

First of all, I just want to say that I do not want this thread to turn into a flame fest.

Every punishable offence will be dealt with, using the warning system, this applies to everyone of course, Croatians are not singled out.

Just for clarification, I want all of the Croatians to know:

1) There are three Polish members on this forum, from what I know, none one of us is even remotely anti-Croatian. I can guarantee you that I am not.

2) Saying things like, "I don't hate Poles, just the village idiots on this forum" is against the rules. And even if anyone of you does hate Poles, keep it to yourself.

3) From what I understand, the remarks made by Polak in the (now closed) thread, were about where he felt most Poles and most of the world thinks Croatia lies-- The Balkans. He wasn't saying he shared these views. This was only his opinion, which I agreed with. We did not say "you Croats are Balkanoids", or anything even similar to that.

4) Please re-read the entire thread if you have to, and see where the insults actually began

5) In the future, and this goes for everyone, if you feel you or your nation has been directly singled out and maliciously insulted, I suggest you contact a staff member, or use the 'report bad post' button, instead of throwing around insults.

6) We are still looking for a Croatian moderator, please feel free to suggest someone.

Yes, I would also like to add that I'm not a Russian officer's son, nor am I a Pan-Slav, and that I certainly support Croatia's independence.

Furthermore, I am against all kinds of stereotypes, such as "dumb Polaks" and "psychopatic Balkanoids".

However, I also value honesty, and I don't believe in twisting the truth and my learned opinions just to make someone feel good.

Of course Europe starts with the Balkans, and the rest is just an addition that came later.
Feel free to flatter me by calling me "balkanoid"!

I believe that you are not. But there is one other memeber that I am not so sure of. I remember he had the same rhetoric while I was still on Skadi.

I do not hate Poles, especially those in night clubs are pretty nifty.

No seriously I do not hate people by their ethnicity, race or anything based on generalisations and stereotypes. I judge them by what the write, with ther objectivness to accept the opposite opinion and various explanation of the same terms, theories and such.

I tried to explain in that thread for about 10 times I believe what the term 'Balkans' means in geopolitical, historical, geographical and cultural sense....yet some members continued repeating the same thing all over againa and again. I find that annoying. I agree with you completly.

It will also be clear that I made no insults, threats or anything against the rules although I was accused of doing so.

Well if you value honesty I have one point to make on this beautifully constructed sentence. You don't believe in twisting the truth? Well why do you avoid and ignore facts that are so clear and present? I made at least dozen of times clear explanationa of the term, the position of Croats on the subject and it's origins...yet you decided to disregarded what you saw fit and started making rather rude remarks and rather offensive tone.

And of course do not take this as an offence like you did before with my rather general statement but do take it as a constructive critic.....if we are going to be honest right?

Btw. I forgot to add - let's at least one time have a constructive discussion where everyone will say his opinion and will actually read and acceppt the other person's opinions.

The Irish are one of the most ancient nations that I know of at this end of the world, and are from as mighty a race as the world ever brought forth.
For it is certain that Ireland hath had the use of letters very anciently and long before England; that they had letters anciently is nothing doubtful, for the Saxons of England are said to have their letters and learning, and learned men, from the Irish.

Ireland can indeed lay claim to a great past; she can not only boast of having been the birthplace and abode of high culture in the fifth and sixth centuries . . . but also of having made strenous efforts in the seventh and up to the tenth century to spread her learning among the German and Romance peoples, thus forming the actual fountain of our present continental civilisation.

I don't get it, what do you want, phone numbers or something? Go to any Polish city and you'll run into heaps of beautiful women. For a first time tourist to Poland, who's also looking for a bit of action, I would recommend Sopot in the north, Krakow, Zakopane in the hills, and the Masurian Lakes. There's more fine crumpet in those places than you will ever have time for during your whole life.
