Madrid celebrated yesterday, Saturday, July 2nd, a Gay Pride march right after the passing of gay marriage by the Spanish Socialist Government.
After the march in defense of the Family celebrated in Madrid on June 18th past, which reached an attendance of around 1.5 million people, yesterday the papers said that the gay associations estimated that some 2 million people would attend the Gay Shame Parody, because of its special significance this year after the new law. However, the Police General Direction, through the Delegation of the Government, reported that the attendants to the Gay Shame Parody had been 98,000!!! While in the March for the Family the slogans and banners were simply in defense of the family, the Gay Shame Parade turned into an orgy of insults against the Catholic Church and others who manifested themselves against giving sodomites the same consideration as families, such as: "We are going to burn down the Episcopal Conference (Spanish Bishops Board) for being male-chauvinist and patriarcalist" "Pure love has no priests" One of the banners that could be seen behind the header of the gay march, and right behind the Socialist gay representative, was against the Professor of Psychiatry who declared before the Senate on homosexuality: "Aquilino, métete un pepino" (Aquilino, stuff a cucumber up) It could also be seen gays disguised as priests and nuns, in a clear and insultant provocation against the Spanish Catholic Church. The march ended with a speech which was a diatribe against the Catholic Church, accusing her of being homophobic. ![]() Header of the march: Zerolo, the Socialist gay representative together with three other Socialist leaders. ![]() A sodomite and a lesbian disguised as a Cardinal and a nun. The pictures have no comparison with those of the March for the Family, with matrimonies of all ages with their children.

Well, in the US homosexuality was classified as a mental illness until a series of protests by homosexuals at the national psychiatrists conferences bullied them into de-classifying it.
Here's an interesting account of how the National Mental Health Association is committed to not treating Homosexuality. Quote:

The problem is, most homosexuals look like normal people and the pink lobby has been working hard to "sell" an image of inteligent, fancy, tolerant, caring and loving men and women, almost in full oposition to the main (heterosexual) population. Now people believes that homosexuals are every bit as good to the society as they are, if not better, and they are surprisingly present in nowadays radio and tv shows, nearly at a nauseating ratio.
Couple this with all the coating that has received from the government calling for the "gay rights" instead of the children ones and you have the recipe for a disaster. It is really hard to fight against decisions that appeal to something labeled as a right, even if it is not a deserved one. By doing this you are a retrograde in the eyes of many people. |

I am curious to know what is going on in Spain. I have been interacting with Spaniard people my entire life, and this entire homosexuality deal is not processing well through my mind. Most of the ones I know are extremely catholic and they don't seem very tolerant towards homosexuals. So what is the deal? How have they mannaged to get such a foothold and so many rights? is it because of the socialist pig?
