Phlegeton: No, alpha males are not only found among animals, any male in a basic (primitive) hierarchy which achieves leadership thru strength/cunningness is the alpha male. Alpha males are almost never monogamous because they have the power to take any female. SOme humans examples are pretty obvious: germanic tribesman were known (at least for the romans) for not having intercourse until they reached their 20´s, since, according to roman description, they found that sex weakened the warrior's spirit. Nevertheless they would eventually find a woman and form a family. Their leaders, and this is historical, had as many wives as they wanted and anyone who tried to contest that would either get killed or get killed So, the leaders were in the role of Alpha Male, the dominant leader of the pack.

indeed, i agree. men and women should be kept separate. there is no need for male/female interaction anywhere at any time. women don't need men and men don't need women, and the sooner scientists find an asexual way of reproduction, the better for all concerned.

fairness is in fact an asinine concept, these is nothing fair or just in this world. let the best wo/man win.

Are you all crazy??? Women are the reason why men developed civilization! After all, had we not invented things like shopping centers, clothing mega-stores, fancy restaurants, etc, mating rituals would still be very hard and it would be alot harder to court females

I don't mind Phlegethon's criticism of women. But it so happens that absence of conscience is also encountered in a big percentage of men. There may be wicked and evil women, yes, but there are also foolish men that fall into their traps. Some men would sell their souls out to get a woman. And of course, viceversa.

Yeap, you are repeating yourself. Believing humans = highly advanced and highly specialized animals is common scientifical belief.
