Violence is not acceptable. I really don't like men hitting women and have a real big problem with that. I also have a big problem with women who attack guys but complain cause the guy defend's himself. All in all tho I would have to say It has no place in a relationship.

Well I’m rather sexist. I basically believe all women should really just lay on their backs give birth, cook dinner and help raise the kids. But just the same, no man should ever hit a women. Even if she’s hitting him. Which she shouldn’t do if he’s tamed her right

I disagree with the argument that a man should never hit a woman. Why not? Should a strong man never hit a weaker man by the same token? Sometimes people deserve it. Being female is no excuse.

If you start a fight and then lose, do not blame the winner.

In my opinion you should not be spared the consequences of your actions because you are a woman.

Violence and psychological terror without consent must be deemed unacceptable by all means. At least if we presume personal liberty is to be glorified and preserved as usual. If not, then sometimes a slapping might be acceptable, but I think not. Depends on the context, so to say. Also, maybe a single "slap" is, and not a full "slapping".

But violence with consent, such as when a masochist gets regular beatings, is different. And I dont think we should even deal with those things.

Then you failed to understand his counter-argument to what you just said. There surely exists weaker men that weigh even less than you. So you're basically saying an 85kg man versus a weak 50kg man, who is even weaker than you, is a fairer fight. And if anything, thats feminist and sexist.

I once beat a female. But it was outside a relationship. Actually it was a street confrontation and she hit me first with a baseball bat while I was unarmed and trying to avoid the altercation, obviously. She was masked as well. I probably would have beaten her up pretty good if I had had the chance, because she broke my collarbone.

In the same situation I would do it again. Chivalry ends somewhere.
