They occasionally spring up in my country as well. I used to meet quite frequently Mormon missionaries Zagreb, who sold the examples of the "Book of Mormom" in the street and preached their religion to passers-by.
They always provide the Book of Mormon in the native language of the country in which they are doing their missionary work. Every adult male Mormom must perform at least some missionary work abroad. They learn intensively language of the country to which they are destined to be sent. |

Oh, Ovaltine. I quite like that myself.
Come to think of it, I've never understood their deal with the caffine in coffees and teas, as I'm pretty sure they're allowed soft drinks, chocolate and the like. |

It's not just about not eating pork, Jews have lots of alimentary regulations, both as to how prepare a meal and as to what should and what shouldn't be consumed. So there are probably some special regulations about making alcoholic beverages.

These guys here?
![]() I've never known whether they are mormons, jehova's witnesses, or whatever else. To me they look plain American idiots.

Kosher alcohol is made from crops (or whatever the particular alcohol is made from) that has been harvested by faithful Jewish males, and grown on a field that has been subject to Kosher rules for four years, i.e. only one type of crops per field, the field is left fallow every seventh year, etc., and a certain amount of the alcohol is spilled on the ground as a sacrifice to the Temple in Jerusalem. There are probably more rules than that, but that's what I could remember.

I have no wish for a pretentious domain. I prefer to select a convenient site and then build after my own fashion, with the view of locating myself for a time, or perhaps for always. An obscure valley would be for me the sole habitable earth." |
