I can't answer this! It's too hard if I think about it.

Is there a difference between being a body, and having a body?
And anyway, if " I have a body", what is this " I" , that possesses such a thing? ![]() Ok, but what is this " I" that have a spirit? What is the difference between this " I" and its spirit? Quote:

I voted for "c". But I agree with the Irish king. I have both spirit and body. The "I" would be my ideas, thoughts. Are they included into the spirit? I guess I have a body, spirit AND soul. The "I" would be the spirit then.
Or maybe I'm just talking crap ![]()

I guess I am a spirit (or a soul), and this spirit has, possesses a body.

But for a believer, it may however be good enough... But still I have not got an answer on the question, what is the difference between a soul and a spirit? A link to a catholic encyclopedia is not an answer, and not satisfying anybody but catholic believers. Gurijeff ( "Meetings with remarkable men") compared the word "soul" with "soles", the lowest parts of the body... I find that quite humorous. Also the negroes claims to have lots of "soul". I am sure they have. ![]() . |

For the records, there is no such things as a facit answer on this. Those that may claim anything such may be called fanatics, since it is not possible to prove anything of this, so it only can be diplayed as hypothesis, theories, speculations or faith.
Perhaps also as personal gnosis, but also then impossible and unactual to communicate, then it would not be gnosis. So, the catholic encyclopedia version may be as good as anybody elses definition, but for catholics. Nothing of this is written by God, but by the servants of the Church, and that is two different sources. But, underlining again, as good as any other theory, for the believers. .
