Which Style is your favourite?

I'm trying to get an idea of which styles people prefer to go with their Stirpes sessions, so that it helps me to improve the outlook of the forums.

Notice that this is a multi-option poll, which means that you can vote on more than one of the choices.

If you don't know what the styles are, it is in the lower left corner of each page of the forums. See the attached file.

It was a while ago, but I tried on all before I came to the conclusion that Aizkorri is the best. It's comfortable and it's neither too dark nor too light. I also found the selection of styles to be more pleasing than what I was used to on other sites.

That's an important point. Sometimes I've found myself late at night, changing the styles looking for one which is more friendly to my tired eyes.

edit: actually, it is not.. it is the software own's default, but we've set the default to umh.. Atlantis, at present.

Atlantis is way to dark and blue for my taste. That one and Midgård are probably the ones I like the least... Aurora and White are my favourites.

Don't those too light tire your eyes more easily? Even when I change to them for the sake of using one different, I need to change back after a few hours.

I looked through the styles again, and I think that what is missing is a few more "mellow" styles, where the background is not light but also not all dark, and the contrast between background and font is just so high that you can read without any problem.

The problem with a too dark background is that the contrast between background and font usually needs to be quite high, which is tiresome for the eyes. But I agree that what is also most tiresome for the eyes are those that are too light. I don't use them.

There are different variants of mellow also, the font can be darker than the background for instance, which is pleasant to read. But the best example of what I mean by mellow that we have now is Aizkorri. I know it looks 'boring', but it is good IMO.

I've always been using "Lemminkäinen", I think. Inspired by this thread, I went through the other styles but I didn't like any of the other ones - may be I'm just to used to this nice, soft, baby-blue style.

I use the default style. At the moment it is Atlantis. Whoever choses what style will be default - I rely on their taste.
