So, what's your opinion about gambling? Would you tolerate it if you were making the rules in your country?

Some people say addiction to gambling can even be worse than addiction to drugs or alcohol. Not that I agree with that, but gambling can lead to huge addiction which affects everyone around you, especially now it's becoming quite a problem with internet and young people playing poker or bets over internet every day.

Personaly I didn't gamble for a long time and I was never interested in it really, but a lot of people of know does.

I play poker sometimes with my friends. Also used to play it online on 'bet and win poker'. But that's about it. Never thought about serious gambling, so don't really have a clear opinion on it.

I agree that if it becomes an addiction, it can lead to serious problems for the gambler itself, and his family, friends etc.

Let us make a sharp distinction. Playing poker with friends, even if it is connecting with betting on small sums of money is nothing, a distraction.

On the other hand, real gambling, like in a casino, is a serious vice and perilous addiction for anyone indulgin therein.

The situation with gambling is Russia is awful. Like it's not enough there are serious problems with alcohol among Russians, gambling centers grow like mushrooms. Frightening...
