Retarded kids at rehablitiation centers? Btw. my IQ is 127 and I am quite happy with that result, but this average is just wrong... Personally I think I could do a lot better than 127, but hey... ![]() Edit: more on IQ => http://www.geocities.com/rnseitz/Definition_of_IQ.html |

Amsterdam 109.4
Hamburg 109.3 Warsaw 108.3 Stockholm 105.8 Zagreb 105.7 Rome 103.8 Vienna 103.5 Zurich 102.8 Lisbon 102.6 London 102.0 Oslo 101.8 Copenhagen 100.7 Budapest 100.5 Bratislava 100.4 Madrid 100.3 Brussels 99.7 Athens 99.4 Dublin 99.2 Helsinki 98.1 Sofia 96.3 Paris 96.1 Cities have usually higher scores, Lisbon (Portugal) got 102.6, Paris got a very low score, I guess the new recent migration from rural areas in the 1960-70 made that possible. Culture backgroud do impact this tests |

In our national TV, there was 2 years ago one IQ contest (made by professionals), the viewer could also join, some questions were made to all, and the viewer would need to reply in a time schedule in some web site, I do not remember what was the usual IQ of the viewers, but it was above 100, that I am sure!
I think it was 109 in average...I guess those who join are smarter than the rest! ![]() Last edited by Vitor; Wednesday, January 26th, 2005 at 04:27. |

I find it quite odd that EVERYONE discussing the height of the average IQ online just happens to be above said average. Truly remarkable...
Decided to start posting here after some deranged American Southerner got drunk and closed his board earlier today (I assume that's what happened, seeing as how that board has a farewellmessage and all). Hello to everyone I know or am supposed to know. ![]() |

The low IQs are surprising even if 100 is supposed to be the norm.
One thing about Mensa people that can be ascertained is their patience to sit down and work out meaningless problems. Io, non ho pazienza. What is needed for success is social ability and determination with intelligence. |

personally i found them to be a very boring group of people, who, as Graeme said, sit around a table working out meaningless problems that ultimately no one really needs to know the answer to .... maybe its me was always odd. |
