Btw. I find it ridiculous that Croatia has the lowest average IQ of all former Yugoslav countries and in the Europe as well, tied with Albania and Turkey?!?!?! I mean who did they tested? Bums? Retarded kids at rehablitiation centers?

Btw. my IQ is 127 and I am quite happy with that result, but this average is just wrong...

Personally I think I could do a lot better than 127, but hey...

Hmm, the last time I've seen such a list, we were somewhere above that score.
Ireland's score was the same as Croatia, if I remember correctly.

I think it's not on the same scale as the test you did. ( Did you apply for MENSA ?)

Hmm...I don't know. This is the first time I see such "research" as this. I must say I find the results a bit doubtful. I mean how can some nations have the average below 70 when below 70 is a state of mental retardation? I know Africans and Negroes aren't that smart but this is a bit too much.

as the scale where it's 'below mental retardation'

If I'm not mistaken these were done in the late 70's and 80's...

Zagreb (Croatia) fares a lot better on this list.

Cities have usually higher scores, Lisbon (Portugal) got 102.6, Paris got a very low score, I guess the new recent migration from rural areas in the 1960-70 made that possible.

In our national TV, there was 2 years ago one IQ contest (made by professionals), the viewer could also join, some questions were made to all, and the viewer would need to reply in a time schedule in some web site, I do not remember what was the usual IQ of the viewers, but it was above 100, that I am sure!

I think it was 109 in average...I guess those who join are smarter than the rest!

Admission to Mensa requires a minimum score of 148, so 127 wont get you into mensa. however you are right in that they are a bunch of idiot sitting around a room with their heads stuck far up their a$$ .....

intelligent yes, however all totally impractical, so if you're looking for a dumb woman, mensa is the place to look

One thing about Mensa people that can be ascertained is their patience to sit down and work out meaningless problems. Io, non ho pazienza. What is needed for success is social ability and determination with intelligence.
