I think there is some interesting precision about the types, as opposed to most other forms of psych. labellings that I am aware of.

The internet statistics do not match real life ration simply becasue more types - such as INTP - tend to develop an online life more actively than, say, ESFJs.

Jung described the first 3 pairs, while M-B did the perceiving/judging aspect.
