Sweden: Jewish & Italian bourgeoisie brats kills Italian boy, age 16

Riccardo Campogiani, 16, was attacked outside a nightclub in the Kungsholmen district by several boys of the same age this weekend. His attackers hit him and kicked his upper body and head.

Five youths, all born in 1991, has been arrested on suspicion of attempted manslaughter. Police said following news of the boy's death that they were now suspected of murder.

The dead boy's father was an acquaintance of the royal family, the killers have names like Bonnier (owner of several of Sweden's biggest media corporations), and several parents are owners of Stockholm's biggest night clubs & restaurants.

According to discussions at the Swedish discussion forum Flashback, the kids (according to some, including the dead boy) were known troublemakers but no one had the guts to reprimand them because of their powerful parents & friends.

I heard on the radio this morning, Rix FM, that one of the suspects had been released. As a reason for it they claimed that he tried to stop the murder. But it seems premature to release anyone at this stage, and I fear that it was based on the suspect's version of things. It could have something to do with this passage from The Local:

Lawyer Åke Broné, who represents one of the boys, said that his client felt terrible about the incident and suspicions that he had contributed to the boy's death.

"He denies the charge and he also denies have used any violence against the 16-year-old. He tried to intervene to stop the argument," said Broné.

According to the lawyer, his client was a friend of the victim.

"My client's father and the victim's father know each other. They were once work colleagues," he said.

The lawyer also added that four of the boys had singled out a fifth boy as the main culprit.

However, the lawyer's version is at odds with the general description of what happened, where the murderers are mentioned in plural:

Boys remanded over murder

Five teenage boys are to be remanded in custody on suspicion of having beaten a 16-year-old boy to death in Stockholm on Saturday.

A custody hearing is scheduled to be held at Stockholm District Court on Tuesday evening.

"The public prosecutor is going to request on Monday afternoon that all five be remanded in custody on suspicion of murder," said police spokesman Björn Engström.

The five boys, as well as a number of witnesses, were taken in for questioning on Monday morning. Björn Engström would not say whether any of the suspects, all aged 16, had admitted to killing the boy.

The youngster's heart had stopped beating by the time paramedics arrived at the scene, but doctors at St Göran's Hospital were able to restart it. Doctors struggled to control extensive haemmoraging on his brain, and news of his death was announced on Sunday afternoon.

Natten till lördag:
Flera ungdomar börjar bråka på en fest på Kungsholmen. Det är oklart var bråket började, men det som började som tjafs fortsätter med att några tar till våld utanför festlokalen. Den senare avlidne 16-åringen försöker fly efter ett handgemäng, men hinns upp vid Kungsholms hamnplan där han misshandlas grovt. Pojken förs till S:t Görans sjukhus men han har svåra skallskador. Han hjärta slutar först slå, men läkarna lyckas få liv i honom på sjukhuset.
Under natten grips flera ungdomar, misstänkta för misshandeln.

Söndag:
Den misshandlade pojkens skador var för omfattande, och han avlider under söndagen. Fem personer, alla 16 år gamla, anhålls misstänkta för dödsmisshandeln. Pojkarna förhörs av polisen.

Måndag:
En av de misstänkta pojkarna släpps. Fyra sitter kvar i polisens förvar och förhören fortsätter. Alla fem nekar till mordanklagelserna som nu ställs emot dem. En pojke erkänner att han slagit den nu avlidne 16-åringen, men hävdar att det var nödvärn.


Tisdag:
Tre av de fyra pojkarna häktas på sannolika skäl misstänkta för grov misshandel och grovt vållande till annans död. Alla nekar. Den fjärde 16-åringen släpps eftersom tingsrätten inte fann tillräckliga skäl för häktning.

It has been very quiet. One of the five suspects was released two days after the murder, another one was released the day after that. I haven't heard as much as a word about what happened since. Maybe they're all released now.
