Bush: Kosovo independent in twenty years
Author: E.B. | 01.04.2008 - 06:00  The USA President George Bush is convinced that Kosovo is capable of becoming an independent state 'standing on its own feet’ within 10 or 20 years. In his interview with German ‘Welt’ he said that ‘the USA has to help Kosovo in that’. ‘It is of huge importance to help nations become democracies. I am cautious when deadlines are concerned, but I am convinced that Kosovo shall become that’, Bush said.

He is "cautious when deadlines are concerned." You really cannot blame the man. Not for that one thing, at least.
