I'm a nationalist, not a communist.
I don't like this kind of necon global capitalism that was also killing your people while favoring your moslem persecutors in kosovo. But for me nation respecting free enterprise is necessary, there is no alternative,a s communism was even more a problem for the nation state.

That is where exactly the problem resides. The current global capitalism has no relation to the free entreprise, it is about gigantic multinationals exerting their pressure on governments. Political elites of various nations become thus merely managerial castes. The free enterprise is rendered almost impossible because the mega-corporations destroy any small or medium-sized firms. The masses of people then depend on the state structures of power and on the managements of various firms, to survive and feed themselves off. Thus you have masses of the slaves of the system, which are supposed to remain silent and not object, as long as their basic needs are met. It is here that Capitalism and Communism converge. So it becomes a false dilemma to choose between the two of them.

Communism is a good idea in theory. If there was a way to make it work, it would be great. But as it stands there are a lot of problems with the system like there are with any system of government. If you could find ways to over come the issues that come with communism I may give it another look.

By the way, much of the same could be said about China in those posters, but it is never mentioned.

The thread start is not highbrow enough to be in the Politics forum. Moved to Atrium.
