EU and USA ordered a second surge of recognition of Kosovo Print

The EU and USA have ordered a second surge of recognition of independence of Kosovo aimed at isolating Russia within G-8, Tanjug learns from European diplomatic sources, who stated as one of the main reasons the absence of the expected surge of recognition of Kosovo by Muslim states. After pressure on G-8 member-states, pressure on Serbian neighbours ensued, resulting in the practical coordinated and collective recognition of Kosmet by Bulgaria, Hungary and Croatia, the first one being the first Orthodox state recognizing Kosovo, the second having a minority community in Serbia and the third with a large Serb population.
