Predsjednički kandidat Liberalno-demokratske partije (LDP) na izborima u Srbiji zakazanim za 20. januar 2008. Čedomir Jovanović izjavio je u Smederevu da je Srbija "feudalno organizovano društvo".

"Imamo begove, age i postoji raja. Možemo samo da žalimo što su Turci odavde otišli. Da su ostali, bili bismo bliže Evropi nego što smo sada", rekao je Jovanović.

On je naveo da voz od Istanbula do Ankare ide 300 kilometara na sat, a koliko ide voz od Smedereva do Beograda, zapitao je i dodao da je vijest kad je voz u Beogradu brzinom od 4,5 kilometara na sat udario u kraj pruge.

"Da pitamo ljude u Smederevu zašto svako ovdje misle da je nešto Bogu zgriješio pa živi u Smederevu. Ali tako misle ljudi svuda po Srbiji. U svakom mjestu danas u Srbiji žive ljudi bez budućnosti i bez šanse da išta promjene u svom životu", rekao je lider LDP-a.

Govoreći da nema razlike između jednog i drugog kraja Srbije, da nigdje nije kako bi trebalo, on je dodao: "Zamislite kako je u Čačku koji je bio poznat po košarkašima, po šljivovici, a sad Čačak ima svog delfina" (ministra Velimira Ilića).

"Videli ste na Pinku: Delfin u bazenu, Sneki Daki pored njega, malo trbušnjaka, malo o Kosovu. Ako ostane još malo na vlasti, moraće da traži vizu kad krene da pliva sa jednog na drugi kraj bazena. To je njihova uspješna politika", rekao je Jovanović.

"Kako mislimo da se razvija ova zemlja, ako se na početku konfrontira sa onima od kojih presudno zavisi. Mi ćemo početi one koji priznaju Kosovo da tretiramo kao Albance. Niko se ne pita kako će ta vlada da zaštiti one Srbe koji ostanu da žive na Kosovu", dodao je lider LDP-a.

On je ocjenio da je "Srbija posljednja adresa za sve ratne protuhe, za propale političare i idealna adresa za Miloševićeve tajkune koji samo u Srbiji mogu da rade što se nigdje u svijetu ne radi".

"Skuplja je hrana u Smederevu nego u Minhenu. Kad pitamo Vladu zašto je to tako: nema odgovora. Zapitajmo se zašto Albanci neće da žive sa nama, da pitamo našu djecu zašto ne vide budućnost u ovoj zemlji", rekao je Jovanović.

Presidential candidate of the Liberal Democratic Party (LDP) for the elections set for January 20, Cedomir Jovanocis said in Smederevo that Serbia “is a feudalistic organized society.”

He mentioned how the train from Istanbul to Ankara goes 300 km/h, but how fast does the train from Smederevo to Belgrade go, he asked and added the news that a train in Belgrade going 4.5 km/h hit the end of the line.

“If we were to ask people in Smederevo why everyone here thinks they are in Smederevo they’d say they did something to upset god. But people thing like this everywhere in Serbia. In every place today in Serbia live people without a future and without a chance to change anything in their life”, said the leader of the LDP.

Talking how there is no difference in any part of Serbia, that nothing is how it should be anywhere, he adds “Think of Cacak which was known for basketball platers, for šljivovic, and now has it’s own dolphin” (minister Velimir Ilic).

“You saw him on Pink: Dolphin in a pool, Snek Daki beside him, a little turbofolk, a little about Kosovo. If he stays in government, he will need to try to obtain a visa when he goes to swim from one end of the pool to the other. That is their successful politics,” said Jovanovic.

“As we think how this country is developing, if at the beginning there is confrontation with those who decisive. We will start treating those with recognition of Kosovo like Albanians. No one asks how that government will protect those Serbs who stay to live in Kosovo”, said the LDP leader.

He concluded that “Serbia final address for all war problems, for failed politicians and ideal address to Milosevic’s tycoons who in Serbia are able to do what nowhere else in the world they could do”.

“More expensive food in Smederevo then in Munich. When we ask the government why is it lie that there is no answer. We should ask why Albanians do not want to live with us, why our children see no future in this country,” said Jovanovic.

Jovanovic isn't objective. Jovanovic now seem's to be trying to hide his responsibility for the problems Serbia has had post-Milosevic.

Jovanovic is the worst option for Serbia. He is like all the other parties, all he does is state problems and say nothing about how to solve it. The truth is if he or his party came to power they would turn out to be a failure just like DOS, G-17+, DS were and are.

What's worst is he hides behind this facade of "Liberal Denmocracy." Jovanovic is just as worst as Serbian politicians like Velimir Ilic or Seselj. He seems to resort to name calling and making idiotic promises.

This statement shows his hypocrisy. Jovanovic should tell people how he has connections to the mafia in Serbia and how post-Milosevic era while he was in government he was the most pro-tycoon politician in DOS. Not only that but his words echo G-17+ who were saying the same thing a few years ago but turned out they were the opposite.

The fact is Jovanovic is a failed politician and he will be a worst failure if he is president.
