In an question-answer session at the Conservative Friends of Israel, Cameron said: “If what you mean by Zionist, someone who believes that the Jews have a right to a homeland in Israel and a right to their country then yes, I am a Zionist and I’m proud of the fact that Conservative politicians down the ages have played a huge role in helping to bring this about.”
The Conservative went on to say: There is something deep in our party’s DNA that believes in Israel, the right of Israel to exist, the right of Israel to defend itself and that a deal should only happen if it means that Israel is really allowed to have peace within secure borders and real guarantees about its future.”

In addition, the Conservative leader also said he believed there was something "in the DNA" of Conservatives that was "profoundly impressed" by what Israel has achieved. [there is also a strong tradition of hostility and resentment of Israel which goes back to the use of terrorism to get the British out of Palestine.]

I would say the more of this blatant rubbish the better. Now even the stupidest Brit can see who their political elite wish to please above all others.

We nationalist are all wishing any people the best in their own homeland.

But we see it as ridiculous bootlicking to become supporters of other people causes.

If he ridicules so much his identity it is because he wants their votes, financial and mediatic support.

I meant that to support israeli right to a state there is no need to be sionists: so our politicians who do so are just kowtowing to international jewry for local political support by their nations\' jewish interest groups. Actually italian politicians are mostly subservient to sionists with the exceptions of hardcore communists and the small remnants of the fascist party (Forza Nuova). The rank and file lombard-leaguers are perfectly lepenist but some of our bosses are strongly pro-sionists (Calderoli for a start). On average our party keeps itself safely distant from the palestinian-israeli querelle, being us focused on more compelling local problems.
