Contemporary Nationalist Thinkers

A supposition: I have been pondering the idea of collecting some of the thoughts of various Nationalist ideologues and like-minded individuals. Ideally, I would want to put together a series of essays of the problems and possible solutions for today's Europe.
Please list some of the people who you think have the right ideas about the political situation in Europe, or who may have new and interesting angles on the subject. And if you will, some of the most pressing issues, and how they could be presented to the general public without evoking images of concentration camps or skinhead hooligans.

It would also be useful to have a one or two paragraph summary of why this thinker would be of interest. I know it sounds lazy but I sometimes don't read long essays if I start getting lost in academic terms and obscure references.

- Guillaume Faye : Not really a nationalist, rather an identitarian.

He was one of the major theorists of the French New Right in the 70's and 80's. He predicts a total war between the so-called "West" and the Islamic world. His view of geopolitics is pro-American (and his life is rather... atypical), but his analysis on internal French & European affairs is nevertheless interesting. His book "The colonization of Europe" is a must.

- Jean Raspail : A French author, traveler and explorer. Conservative & traditionalist. Also royalist if I'm not mistaken.

He encountered a huge controversy in 1973 with his book The Camp of the Saints (a must as well). In it he predicted the overwhelming of Western civilization in a 'tidal wave' of Third World immigration. It is the story of the final, tragic end of European civilization which falls, like all great civilizations, by its own hand. His critics accuse him of right-wing extremism on the basis of the views expressed in the book. He considers himself a conservative opponent of unrestricted or mass immigration.

Anyway he proposes no solution, as he said it himself : "I am a novelist. I have no theory, no system nor ideology to propose or defend. It just seems to me that we are facing a unique alternative either learn the resigned courage of being poor or find again the inflexible courage to be rich. In both cases, so-called Christian charity will prove itself powerless. The times will be cruel."

I read this article of his, he is speaking about the situation in France in 1980. Today the situation must be much worse, not only in France, but in Europe as such.

Dragoš Kalajić - a late Serbian third position thinker.His book "The Last Europeans" is maybe the best in this field...only problem is,that this book is in Serbian only!

I think he was more of a Eurasianist than third positionist.

He was Russophile,like most of the Serbs,and was very much respected in Russia,but I don't think he was Eurasianist...he was also respected in many other European countries.His books and paintings are truly an expression of European nationalism!

Thanks for the suggestions so far. I've read some articles by Faye, and he is definitely interesting for my project. Kalajić is new to me, and I don't know much Serbian.

Against the liberal melting-pot of the USA, Benoist is in favour of separate civilisations and cultures. He also says he opposes Jean-Marie Le Pen, racism and anti-Semitism. He has opposed Arab immigration in France, while supporting ties with Islamic culture. He has also tried to distance himself from Adolf Hitler, Vichy France or Aryan supremacy, in favor of concepts like "ethnopluralism," in which organic, ethnic cultures and nations must live and develop in separation from one another. He also opposes Christianity as inherently intolerant, theocractic and bent on persecution.

I was wondering if anyone had any interesting articles or essays on the modern corporate culture from a nationalist perspective? I was thinking especially about the damage done to the personal character of employees who are made to conform to the ideals of a multinational corporation and how this enforced conformity injures the host nation.

They are, but I am not sure if Balzac and Dostoevsky are relevant in this context.
