20 suspected neo-nazis detained by police in several towns of Valencia

The Spanish Civil Guard have detained 20 members of a neo-nazi organization known as FAS (Anti-system Front) in an operation code named 'Panzer', which has taken place in different towns in the Valencian province.

The investigations by the Guardia Civil, which started two years ago, have allowed to identify 18 premises and private residences in the city of Valencia as well as in Sagunto, Puzol, Chiva, La Pobla de Farnals, Torrente, Silla, Paterna, La Font de la Figuera, Burjasson and Chirivella, where the members of this group gathered and stored many devices and illegal weapons to commit their delictive activities.

Among other activities for which they are being accused, there is the organization of raids to beat up members of rival tribes or immigrants. One of these raids could be the firing of five vehicles belonging to immigrants in the town of Canals, which took place the last weekend in an action considered as xenophobic.

The detentions and home raids have been ordered by the Court of Instruction n. 1 of Carlet, where most of the detainees lived.

According to the Valencian edition of the newspaper El País, the leader of the organization is, apparently, a 35 year old businessman who lives in Calicanto, a private suburb in the municipal lands of Torrente, Godelleta and Chiva.

MCI (Movement Against Intollerance) has congratulated the security forces and has assured that the presence of neo-nazis in Spain "is nothing exceptional".

On a public note this organization has assured that "there is evidence of the existance of more than 70 neo-nazi groups and organizations operating in Spain, with a number of members compromised with an ideology of hatred between 11,000 (data from Home Ministry in 1995) and 15,000 (as reflected in the neo-nazi web La censura de la democracia)."

MCI has added that the presence of these groups in over 90 Spanish towns imply a high and worrying incidence in Madrid, Catalonia, Andalusia, Valencia and Murcia, and they have alerted of the danger of an expansion of this problem to other autonomous regions in Spain.

Dismantled in Valencia a neo-nazi network which sold arms and organized "hunting parties" of immigrants

They financed the organization through the sale of weapons and effects of nazi ideology on the Internet. Police has seized many fire and cold steel arms which they used to agrede immigrants and members of other bands, in the "hunting parties" which they organized.

The Civil Guard has dismantled a neo-nazi organization named FAS (Anti-System Front) and detained 22 member up to the moment during the developing of the code-named "Panzer operation", which took place in different towns in the province of Valencia.

Seized weapons

During the house inspections they found several riffles, one of them cut like a shot-gun; una carabine calibre .22 and an air carabine; several semi-automatic and air guns; some pen-guns calibre .22; knuckles; a crossbow; various cold steel weapons, like daggers, katanas, machetes and double edged axes; two paralyzing sprays; anabolyzing pills of illegal sale among sportmen; one machine to reload ammunitions; material to make svastiks and for making nazi propaganda; computing material.

The organization, which is known as Frente Antisistema, is located in Valencia and has a hierarchical structure and a rigid discipline, with the functions and actions shared among the diverse members.

The finances are obtained through the sales of effects related to nazi ideology, sale of banned weapons, and through memberhip fee.

"Hunting parties" of immigrants and punks

Among the illegal activities carried out by the organization, there is inciting to discrimination, to hatred and to violence, as well as attacks against individuals and associations for their ideology, religion or beliefs, for being any of its members from an ethnic group, race or nation, for their sexual orientation, for their family situation or a handicap.


One of their main activities was organizing "hunting parties", which consisted in looking for members of rival tribes (punks) or immigrants, to attack them.


This organization was doing a big work of proselitism to attract new membes, through conferences, talks, concerts, countryside activities, as well as the commercialization of texts, documents and magazines apologetical of the National Socialist ideology.


The operation is still open, and new detentions may be expected.

Ha, we know the trick. This is the same international scenario that the spanish governemnt is playing and that we had here. I guess they are as "neo-nazis" (TM Copyright) as those who were arrested in France. In fact nationalists, monarchists, some good old patriots ...
