Schroeder vows to ban neo-Nazi party

German Chancellor Gerhard Schroeder has warned that he would explore every possibility to ban the neo-Nazi National Democratic Party, as it prepares to demonstrate in Dresden tomorrow.

In an interview with a Jewish newspaper, Mr Schroeder said his Government was considering a fresh attempt to ban the party following the failure of a similar effort three years ago.

"I want my Government to use every possibility to go down the road of a ban," he said. "But it must have a good chance of success."

The party, known by the initials NPD, stunned the political establishment last year when it won 9.2 per cent of the vote during state elections in Saxony. Since then the party's 12 new MPs have staged a series of stunts in the state Parliament in Dresden - walking out last month during a minute's silence for victims of the Holocaust.

The party's rise, against a background of rising unemployment, appears to have caught Germany's Social Democrat-led Government unawares.

Look at Belgium and what happened there. Its all the same and every new member of the "European" Union will sooner or later be in the same struggle about freedom or Neoliberalism.
In the end Neoliberalism leads to a Semi-dictatorship. First just via the media, than than the education, the institutions and finally through the law.
Then you will have serious troubles to oppose ANY neoliberal doctrine, I dont even speak about racism alone.

As Hayek pointed out, its about a struggle between collectivism and (radical) individualism. For the final victory of individualism every collectivistic structure which could be a thread must be destroyed, mainly via the mechanism of the predatory capitalism.

If the NPD doesnt go over a certain line I have in mind, just does a good and sometimes provocative opposition but will be banned no matter what, this is the ultimate end of a real democracy, or better the rests of it, in Germany.

I dont talk about all the snitchers and agents or illegal condemnations at all, thats just normal nowadays in what was Germany long time ago...

Perfect. Now that there is some sort of resistance to what Agrippa calls Neo-Liberalism, the way to propagate it is to repress it. Combine this with cutting edge, grass-roots music by and for the young and Schroeder must be worried. So must Jews.
