Online: The Local - Extremists clash in Stockholm
Opposing groups of extremists were forced apart by police on Saturday afternoon after a brawl broke out in Medborgarplatsen , in Stockholm's Södermalm .
Far right activists bearing banners had gathered to hand out leaflets in the square when they were confronted by left wing extremists from Antifacist Aktion (AFA).
"They were throwing things at each other and were generally rowdy, but we managed to separate them," said Björn Engström, Stockholm police spokesman.
The fighting began at around 2.30pm. AFA extremists congregated when they discovered where the right wingers were handing out their material.
Neither of the groups, each containing around 20 people, had permission to hold a demonstration. Nobody was injured in the brawl.

Here is one of the "non injured" nationalists:
The group that was attacked:
Quote:
In reality 18 members of Swedish Resistance Movement sold the magazine National Resistance in public. It was in a "red" area in central Stockholm. They were attacked by more than 40 masked and armed reds. The nationalists beat the shit out of the reds who fled. Several weapons, including two batons, were taken from the reds by the nationalists.
Later the media tried to play it down, when they realized that the fighting had gone "bad". A major newspaper even wrote that the reds "regrouped"... TV-cameras and journalists where quick on scene, almost like they knew what was going to happen.
Media then reported that the Swedish Resistance Movement had made an illegal demonstration...
