They can do pretty much anything they want if it's under the banner of politically correctness...Just look at all the so called anti-defamation laws being pushed through in European governments as we speak.

Football racist arrested

A MAN has been arrested in connection to the racist chants made by a Sheffield Wednesday fan.

The 42-year-old man was reported to be acting in a racist manner at the club’s play-off tie with Brentford.

The reports, filed by fans sat close to him, allege racist behaviour towards a black player, close to the end of the match, broadcast on television.

As i've already written in a other post, things were way different..

That player was offended not because he was black but because he acted like an a**hole in the previous match between the two teams..
The "victim" indeed was previously suspended for 8 matches because he kicked in the stomach a Verona player while the game was inactive for a foul and after the red card he insulted and spat on the face the referee.
he claimed then that Italy is a "racist" country and that he would have left his team if the ban was not lifted..
Regardless of his rants the ban was not even reduced but that stupid monkey of course did not leave the country but somehow he has sworn revenge for the retour match

So here we are.. as retaliation he had a bully attitude for all the match and after the final whistle he went under the home supporter section and started to insult and kiss his lousy dark skin as some show off of "black pride"..no wonder he was submerged by insults and monkey chants.
Now, if he was an italian player he would have been accused of instigating violence and suspended once again..but he's a poor "black" so now the multi-culti lovers defend him at any cost and the mayor of Perugia even wants him to have the honorary citzenship..
But we Verona supporters just hope that Perugia won't be promoted to the first division so the next year we will have the chance to prepare an even warmer welcome for him and his team of idiots

Italy is (at least officially...) a democracy, which means everyone has the liberty to express it's views, even if they are antagonistic to the ruling regime. But that is that theory, of course....

One more case of "racism"...

Spain is not a racist country, certainly no more than its European neighbours. Yet there remains a frustrating unwillingness to tackle the problem of racism.La Liga's otherwise healthy fan power is a major factor. Barcelona and Real Madrid are famously run by their socios and the phenomenon is mirrored across the country.

At the heart of this lie the peñas, supporters groups that wield tremendous power. Directors and presidents mess with these at their peril, fearful of being voted out of power.

As a result, these groups often do what they want, and are faced with little or no resistance when they bring racism to the stadium.

The bigger foe is acceptance.

Indeed it is. They misunderstand the concept of acceptance though.

Spanish society is generally relaxed, liberal, permissive. The vast majority are not racist, but they rarely act when others transgress.

Black players themselves shrug their shoulders and declare the abuse 'part of the game'.

And they are right. There was always verbal and physical violence when it comes to football.

Nowhere are the near-evangelistic anti-racism crusades of France and England, and it is the incredulous public reaction in these other countries that has given Spain its bad reputation.

People see Spanish coach Luis Aragones call Thierry Henry a 'black shit', a sackable offence in many countries, then refuse to apologise and emerge exonerated by his federation.

This is ridiculous. If calling some a piece of sh*t is sackable, most players and coaches would have been gone by now. The problem here is - not surprisingly - the "black" part. These people do not like their origins to stand out and this could be a result of an inferiority complex.

They see clubs fined a paltry 600 euros for racist chants, then, in the case of Albacete, have their punishment halved on appeal.Even repeat offenders like Atletico Madrid are not taken to task, just made to pay one percent of a top player's weekly salary.

They see Eto'o, coincidentally a frequent victim of racism, fined 12,000 euros for a mild dig at former club Real Madrid while euphorically celebrating Barcelona's Liga title.

They do some quick maths and realise that, for that money, he could have got away with fifty monkey chants. And they conclude that Spain is a racist country.

It is not. But ignoring the problem of racism is no longer an option. We must establish that abusing black players is worse than abusing Germans or gingers or fashion icons.

At least they are honest here. Why should black people have a special status?

Every player has to put up with barracking, but true racism goes deeper than mere insults.By calling them 'animals' or 'monkeys', racists condemn black players as sub-human - a different species - a world away from shouts of 'dirty foreigner' or 'scouse bastard'.

Spain needs to get serious, and can start by sorting out its disciplinary procedures to show it cares about eradicating racism.
