Which is your favorite sport?

Mine is basketball, since I was one of the best players in my village team when I was 13 years old.

In my opinion, swimming is the most complete sport, where you work coordination and all the body can work perfectly all its routines without the risk to get injured, the worse part of basketball is indeed that ankles are in constant danger, and I know why I'm saying it. But I enjoy it the most after all.

My sports exam included basketball among others. Having almost never played it before, I got myself injured, so I know what you're talking about

(Field) Hockey, I was great at it when I was a teenager but I had to stop because we moved residence. Ice Hockey is also great, though I never played it.

Football is great as well, and Rugby is cool.

Watching: anything with cars, anything with gorgeous women, or cars & women, and also watching athletics, because it doesn't take too much time.

Favorite Sport?? That is sort of hard. I have one main one which I love the most, but many which I also love also.

I like Winter Sports most of all:

• I enjoy Snowboarding (watching it on TV and doing it)
• I like to watch Skiing on TV, but I'd rather snowboard than Ski, any day of the week. My favorite types are Alpine (downhill skiing), Nordic Combined (cross-country + ski-jumping), and Biathlon (cross-country + rifle-shooting).
• The absolute favorite sport of mine to watch on the television or in person would be Curling, it is so awesome! I know what some of you are thinking... "It is so boring." Wrong! It is the awesomest sport in the world. Unfortunately, I am no good at it myself, so I only stick to watching the competitions.
• I also like Luge. I have watch races on one occasion, and have liked this sport ever since. It is however, not a personal pick, because I've never raced myself, only witnessed races and watched them on TV. The international competitions are always exciting.

For non-Winter related sports, I like to watch:

• Surfing --- (tryed it in early-middle teenage years, but never got into it personally)
• Football aka Soccer --- (I played it for a while when I was a kid but my intrests grew elsewhere)
• Fencing --- (I've never tried it, but I'd like to. I like the feeling of nostalga while watching it, almost as if I'm watching a middle-aged duel.)
• Rifle Sports and Archery --- (I tried archery on one occasion and found it difficult, so I have respect for the good archers out there and like to watch the competitions. I own a rifle and tried to go to a firing range when I can, I like the skill involved in the sport and like to watch it on television when they have programmes on it, which is usually only around the Olympics)

That is about all the sports that I take interest in or watch on television, if I happen to see them on, which is extreamly rare. Mostly the only time I get to see my favourite sports are in Olympic events, which is always on TV. Other than than, I don't watch much sports at all, and seldom do I get time to go participate in any sports in Adulthood, except for the few times I go target-practicing or take a trip to the mountains to snowboard. So, as you can see, I am not much a sports fanatice 24/7 like some people are. I don't like Basketball or any of those other popular sports which are "sweeping" countries. They only popular sport I like is Football (not the yankee crap), but I rarely watch that on TV anymore unless there is some real important match, it's world-cup time or VfB Stuttgart is doing well.
Though as I said, my favorite is Curling and if there was a Curling channel on TV, I'd keep my TV on it untill I was bored or my TV broke from over-use.
No, just kidding, I'm sure I'd get bored of it before then - I just get little chance to watch it, and when I do watch it, I love it.

Boxing
Martial Arts
Various American Sports ("Football", Basketball, Baseball, Bowling, etc.)
Tennis (incl. Table Tennis and "Bad Mitten")
Golf
Lacrosse
Rugby and "Aussie-Rules Football"
Bicycle Racing
Water Polo
Wrestling (not the yankee entertainment version, even though I think I hate that aswell)
And others which I can't think of right now, but if mentioned, I'm sure I would voice my disgust.

cycling and lots of swimming in summer. (obviously since i live in malta and wherever you look you see the sea!)

there's not much i can do that involves hands/arms since my right shoulder, elbow and wrist were severely damaged in a car accident some 5 years ago

so now you all know why my posts are in lower case it makes life easier when one is restricted to the left hand, plus limited use of the right.

Bah humbug! I live on the coast, and I never swim. I hate the beach... too much sand. It gets f**king everywhere! I feel like an Arab every time I go to the beach... sand all up my unmentionable areas. I don't understand how people can actually like to swim in dirt-water. That is what it is... dirt (sand) and water. And then there are the jelly-fish, crabs, and other evil devils which dwell in the water waiting to piss off a swimmer. I will stick to swimming in fresh water, specifically one that is either is running and not stagnant (a river) or one that is man-made (a pool) and cleaned. Swimming in lakes is gross too, when I step on the lake-floor, I feel like I am walking on phlegm.

the sea is beautiful. i absolutely love it. everything, the sand, the bugs, the creepy crawlies ..... even the jelly fish! last time i was swimming and found one floating next to me, i picked it and threw it at a friend who was swimming close by [wicked i know ]. they're all harmless! a bit of rash and away it goes within a day or 2.

even in winter i love the sea. see my avatar? that pic was taken just over a week ago. the sea was realllly rough and the waves were crashing onto the shore and over the railings. it was such fun going really close, close enough to get drenched in sea water, tasting the sea spray on my lips.

ok fine, i froze my butt but heck was it great fun can't wait for another really rough sea day
