Many of them arrived from Turkey.

A combination of physical exhaustion (I mean 120 minutes of playing!!!!) and bad luck, I presume.

I don't blame them, they were an excellent team, with all victories until tonight and tonight they were close to victory. Of course, I would prefer if they went further, in the half-finals, but even in this case the fact remains that they performed very well at this championship, beyond any expectations.

Playing in the national team does not bring much money though. They were not playing for money, but for honour. For money they play in their clubs.

Yes, something like that.

What's the next rival for Turkey? Isn't it Germany?

Most ugly is that Turks did play very bad in first 90 minutes. They didnt even bother to attack or create any chances in the offence. They were aiming for shootout from very beginning. It would be logical if Croatians have scored and won but Turks got lucky again.

I think they get payed very well for playing in Euro. Don't forget football association, national goverment - they all are involved in financial support of the team. I bet they have huge bonuses for goal-scoring as well.

I suggest the organization to take more measures to control the Turkish immigrants this time...

Which teams are still in beside the Turks ?

It was nice to see France eliminated by Italia, btw.

Spain-Italy, I hope for 3-2. It's more what I hope for than what I think will happen. Spain plays a very entertaining kind of football, and it would be nice to see them having some more success with it.

they missed 3 penalties. Surely the psychological shock of the turkish draw had much to do with that.

They missed the goal twice, the third one was goalie save iirc.

Germany (in the semis, vs. the aliens), Holland vs. Russia and Spain vs. Italy.

Not France. Françafrique.

I would very surprised and disappointed to see the Italians conceding 3 goals again, after their shock loss in their opening game against Holland.
