Interesting! I can't see a real difference between dark, dark brown and medium dark brown though. My hair could be either of the three.
And the red is missing! I love redhaired girls, that's why I want to go to Ireland by the way... I should have said all the "reds", as there are so many different types of red hair. |

The difference is in the "sheen", so to speak. Black is almost matte, whereas dark brown has a warm sheen to it. Interesting you guys see no difference because in my monitor I do.

Bet you don't show properly in the film since the camera uses a mirror. Better use a digital one.

wait a minute, I'm gonna wipe my screen... mmmm no still don't see much difference!
Oh by the way, Vodgive me the email adress of the girl of your photo. I'm gonna ask her her hair colour for a poll. ![]() And anticipating questions about the girl above, her hair colour is dark brown, and no I don't have her email adress. |

Yeah, I'd like to get a real good digital camera. It would work better than scanning things too, I guess. Whenever I scan something, it loses quality. But the golden brown doesn't look that light to me. Well, maybe if you compare it to the black one, which is almost undistinguishable... I don't think I've seen someone with such a dark natural hair colour :-O

On the other hand, my monitor sucks, so I only recently saw that
the black areas on this banner are in fact purple :-O ![]() I never saw the difference while working on the banner

As for the black color, surely it exists but the naturally pitch black hair usually has a blue tint to it, especially in most Asians. These are synthetic wigs, there's no way they could really look like actual hair. People's own hair is almost never only one color anyway. I have at least three different shades on my head (naturally) ranging from very dark blonde (or golden brown) in the lightest parts -my forehead- to medium chestnut/auburn. Even really dark brown has some 'highlights'. Only dyed hair is flat colored. |

Based on this chart, and based on how I see it, I think your hair is something between dark auburn to dark strawberry blonde. Not that I ever saw much of your hair, of course you skinhead!

I'm not a skinhead, I'm just bald
![]() The hair colour I can stand, but having blond eyebrows and red beard is really frustrating. If I had a dollar for every time someone told me to dye my eyebrows darker.

Nothing wrong with a red beard! My dad has a red beard. In fact he has a very similar coloring to yours overall, except that he now has chestnut hair with gray. And his skin color is permanently pink, I don't know why, but it is.
Your hair color in that photo looks golden brown with dark strawberry blond/auburn to me. |

I'm pretty good at colors as I work with them every single day and you learn to notice even the subtle differences between the hues. You can also ask your hairdresser the next time you're there. They might not be very specific about the exact shade but he (or she) can tell you if it's 'golden' or 'ash'. Golden toned hair is warm tones, and has the reddish tinge, or of it's lighter it's golden brown or blonde and ash is a cool tone. Similar to the whole skin tones thing.
