It could be, although eye colour varies some times with the lighting.
Shame he didn’t take a picture of his eyes when they were brown, that way we could appreciate this phenomenon better. |

lawl, I have similar case with one girl at my work . She said that her brown eyes suddenly turned green, and she was so pissed because she liked brown colour better.

A cousin of mine used to have hazel eyes (greenish brown), until she was about 20, when her eyes turned green.
Hazel eyes and green ones are very close to each other, so a slight loss of eye pigmentation may turn hazel eyes (greenish brown) into green(rather brownish green) eyes. I even know two girls whose hazel eyes turn green in summer. |

It is common in childhood maybe that colours turn sudenly to another colour ; Mines were blue till 9 months then turned to dark brown, suddenly (accursed by pigmentation as Gunthy would say
)Eyes changing with age happens, is not the norm but happens Nikola Tesla used to say that once his eyes used to be darker, and then became very light blue

Who cares? Btw, mine are light brown but after an hour in a swimpool with a good chlorine rate they get like the ones you see above: green. It is an impressive phenomenon and the first time I saw it I was really scared (Mengeleian swimpols ???).

Eyes may vary in tone throughout age, not in colour.
Not so long ago, scientists thought that there were only 2 colours: Blue x Brown. Green was thought to be an aberration. Later genome investigation proved that there are (in europid/indo-caucasian races) 3 base colours Blue, Green and Brown. Brown is dominant. Green is dominant on blue but recessive against brown. Blue is always recessive. Grey is a tonal variation of blue; golden is a tonal variation of brown in its lighter form. Mixed colour eyes are due to small recombination errors during embryonic development, namely Nitrogenous Bases random swaps Tests showed that there is no significant difference in sensibility regarding colours or tones. A person with dark eyes may well have Photophobia. Nevertheless, the light of our habitat may influence tonal changes throughout life.

My aunt was a natural blue before turning brown at 11 months
![]() I think it has been documented that eyes do change with age (although not always going lighter...) |
