The fact that something as horrendous as this could have occurred in Greece (regardless of whether or not the perpetrators were Greek) demonstrates how greatly this nation has fallen as a direct result of the anti-Orthodox and anti-national puppet regime in power.

The Greek Orthodox nuns, both aged in their late 70s, were found dead in their beds on the first floor of the 17th century monastery with knife wounds. Police said they suspected a robbery, as several doors at the convent had been forced open and the church had been broken into. A church official confirmed that a number of valuable icons were kept in the monastery. Up until late yesterday, nothing had been reported missing from the convent. Remote monasteries are often the targets of thieves. A rare and valuable Byzantine icon was stolen from a cliff-side monastery last year but was recovered a month later.

It's sick. And you are right. The defamation and the persecution by the liberal-socialist governments against Christians is much to blame for these horrible events.

What an act of absolute savagery. This type of acts are completely unnaceptable.

There have also been increased break-ins into Orthodox churches lately, indicating that these types of anti-Orthodox phenomena are not isolated occurrences.
Quote:http://www.hri.org/news/greek/ana/2007/07-04-19.ana.html#45 Church break-ins in wider Athens area Three church break-ins in the wider Athens area were reported to have taken place in the early hours of Wednesday. The robberies took place in churches in Nea Makri, Ilioupolis and Kallithea and in all instances the alms boxes were stolen. In Kallithea, the alms box was abandoned in the church yard.

Here are some updates regarding the murder of the two nuns:

If someone killed a priest or a nun in Malta it would provoke a national outcry, although degeneracy is flooding in.
Speaking of clandestine migrants who turn against those that aid. This happened recently in one of Malta's open centres. The migrants turned against their carer, an Englishman who is teaching us how not to be racist supposedly. Perhaps he needs to read about his defunct Empire's attitude towards the Maltese. |

News reports are saying that there are few clues, which seems strange if the culprits were drug-addicts. (After all, how likely would it be for drug-addicts to be so organized in such a violent crime as to leave no clues behind?) It's worth noting that there are theories floating around that the two nuns which made up the entire monastery were murdered because the monastery had coast property, and that by murdering the nuns the monastery would close, thereby allowing land developers to buy up the land and create a tourist destination. In other words, this might have been the result of an unholy union of capitalism and tourism.

The perpetrator or perpetrators made off with a small sum of money and icon offerings, but there is no evidence to confirm reports that a priceless 11th-century cross was also stolen, he added. Three days after the murders, no suspects have been named. (AFP)

Constructors and estate agencies have not reached those levels here. At least not that it is known of. But setting a trees area on fire to turn it into wasteland and later having it reclassified as fit for urban development (with the help of properly tipped corrupted local politicians) is nothing uncommon.
I, for one, would raze down to the ground any construction within the 100 m. reach from the coast line and which is not older than 90 years or which does not have an artistic or historical value.
