Default Re: Now Playing?

I grew up in a small town in western Greece.
As an adolescent, I was brought up with the vitamins of Epic Heavy Metal ( Manowar, Manilla Road, Omen, Virgin Steele, Cirith Ungol, Queensryche, Fates Warning, Candlemass, Brocas Helm and the like ), without ignoring the classics of course.
Like Maiden, Saxon, Priest, Sabbath, Purple, Zeppelin, Rainbow, Motorhead, Dio, Ozzy, Accept, Malmsteen, Helloween etc etc.

One of the most moving moments of my life was last year, when, inside my hometown's small metal pub ( where I grew up ), something that I would never dare to dream during my adolescence, happened:
I saw Manilla Road live in my childhood pub and sang half of "Flaming Metal Systems" ( who would have thought... ) in the mic with "the Shark" Shelton.

Chilling.

The things that come in one's mind at 5:46 in the morning...

English Happy Hardcore in early 90's,trance and house later (Tek house not the american disco house shit).
I have kept all the flyers from the parties i've been to.Perhaps i should post them in future. Some of them are very artistic.

By the way,we called metalheads "Heavy-Budalades" Arktikos

Whoah, Manilla Road. One of my favorites of that period, together with Savage Grace and a few others. But talking about Canadian bands: We forgot Exciter (of old "Violence & Metal" fame) and Lee Aaron.

She has not really aged though, this pic is from 2001:

Yeah, those were the days. I never wanted to grow up.
