Not really, but I have heard about them. In Poland almost no one compare polish "uniforms" to nazi uniforms, they are just diffrent but "this same stylized" as in many countries. In polish is only few pages unfortunetly.

And color of shirt that Poles are wearing are beige/khaki (like that).

I would imagine 9 out of 10 Poles would say those look like German Nazi uniforms. The tan shirt and black tie would say to a spectator "I want to celebrate the foreign invaders who helped bring about the bloodiest period in Polish history". Not exactly a vote winner.

Nevertheless, it is worth mentioning many symbols which are supposed to be frightening because of their "fascist" connection were quite universal in the recent past. The roman salute is a good example.

Thats no metter what would people says, btw. people know what was Endecja (generally name for all polish nationalists movements), and most of them know these colors

If more of these 'ultra' groups like the Polish ONR spring up, they'd run out of colours! Wasn't there the Greenshirts in Romania? They might choose Paisley or Hawaiian

Personally I think this salute will do us more harm than good. I like the clasped hand salute above the head, but that belongs to the spanish anarchists.

I always thought that the Romanian Greenshirts were pushing it, colour-wise. Their shirts were dark teal rather than green.

An even more shocking example would be the salute to the American flag formerly shown in the Pledge of Allegiance:







Notice that here the arm appears less risen up and the hand is more horizontal, clearly more in the style of the one intimately related to Fascism and Nazism, even if this salute is accounted to have been "officially" existing in this exact form since 1892, and ironically, proposed by a Freemason - Francis Bellamy (more here).

I watched a CBS show which I'm sure some of you have seen called Rome where they had something very similar to that salute except their feet were in a normal stance (one foot wasn't behind the other). The show was apparently very well researched.

I would guess the sons in the painting are standing with their feet thrust forward to add drama to the scene and to create a triangular shape for the composition of the picture.

I must have rugby on my mind because they look like the front row of a scrum to me.
