Militia Maltese historical reenactment - Period - Knights of Malta

5-minute flick of a reenactment by the Maltese Historical Reenactment Group, performing as Maltese Militiamen of the period of the Knights. This reenactment took place as part of the show for the inauguration of the restored Torre Nuova, referred popularly as Torri ta' Sopu, in Nadur, Gozo. Inaugurating the project was left in the hands of the Deputy Prime Minister of Malta, the On. Dott. Tonio Borg. P.S. Unfortunately, I could not embed it directly in the post. P.P.S. Militia orders are in Italian, as were in the period. The one speaking is describing the scenes, in Maltese.
