Default Women Knights in the Middle Ages

Women Knights in the Middle Ages

Were there women knights in the Middle Ages? Initially I thought not, but further research yielded surprising answers. There were two ways anyone could be a knight: by holding land under a knight's fee, or by being made a knight or inducted into an order of knighthood. There are examples of both cases for women.

Default Re: AW: Women Knights in the Middle Ages

Did these female knights actually right, or did they simply recieve the ceremonial duties of knights? I sincerly doubt they had any duties dealing with the former.

Therefore love toward your own nation is not contradictory to love for the whole of mankind; they complement each other. All of the nations are children of God."
